Wuhan-guangzhou high-speed railway, namely Wuhan-Guangzhou section of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, abbreviated as Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed Railway, also known as Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Line or Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed line, is an important part of the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, and is the "longitudinal" of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway in China's "Medium and long-term Railway Network Planning", which runs north-south.It is the first high standard long-distance railway trunk line in mainland China with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is also the first long-distance high-speed railway to be put into operation in the Medium and Long Term Railway Network Planning.
